These holiday NBC gets the chance to do fun actives. One of the activities was a Minecraft build with an Autumn theme I found this one really fun after a while I did realise I made it a bit to big. I took the theme to flowers and pictures.

This Holidays NBC get the chance to do the Autumn Learning Journey with multiple fun activities. One of these fun activities was making words out of the word Easter. I got a whole twenty two words.

This week we have been learning about mythical creatures. We did a task on the lochness monster.

Here is our task

For the past two weeks the whole of New Brighton Catholic went QEll for swimming lessons. On the first Monday we got into our groups and did some swimming styles. We ended up doing that the whole week my favourite swimming style is dolphin dive. The next week the easy and medium group started going into the deep pool and did their swimming lessons in there. On Wednesday we started wearing life jackets.  My group did Live saving where we got anything that could float and threw it out to one of our classmates. On the Thursday we got to into the boat and pull people up and fall back into the water.

Hello everyone and welcome to 2025.

This year I am a Year 8 and we have already been put into our groups for the year. We got to do Life Ed already with o and Harold and learnt some really fun things. We have different fitness’s through the week like Monday Run-Day  Tuesday Chose Day and Hump day Jump day and Thursday Dodge Day and Friday Disco Day. My Home room teacher this year is Mr Gray but we mainly share classrooms.

Today New Brighton Catholic School went to a Duffy Assembly and we got given books this assembly happens every term.
The books are Wings of Fire and Scream

Today Sharon had come in and given us an amazing task to make something scratch I made my name rotate and change colour when you click your space bar. I enjoyed making my name and hope I can do it again one day,

Today, we had a man named Bob Bickerton he had come to show us some traditional music instruments to the Maori culture. There were 20 instruments and he even told us some stories which I found very interesting.  I liked how he put a lot of onomatopoeia’s in his stories and in his words. There was a story about Ranginui and Papa-tua-nuku and how they were separated by their kids I really enjoyed this story and hope to one day here it again.
